I have a 2000 5-speed and average 33-35 on my rush hour commutes (22 miles each way - 17 of them on the freeway but lots of stop & go). I usually get about 37mpg on road trips. And I'm a lead-foot...accelerate from stops quickly and when the road is open usually 75-80mph.

A friend of mine has a 2007 and the drivers side mirror was ripped off while pulling into a garage. It seems that a replacement body colored mirror is pretty expensive as a unit. What I'm wondering is, can I just replace the mounting bracket and keep the original mirror? Is it even possible...
