A friend of mine has a 2007 and the drivers side mirror was ripped off while pulling into a garage. It seems that a replacement body colored mirror is pretty expensive as a unit. What I'm wondering is, can I just replace the mounting bracket and keep the original mirror? Is it even possible to get the mounting off of the mirror assembly or is it all one unit?
