CONCLUSION TO MY ISSUE: DIFFERENTIAL was run dry of oil, and in turn it froze the shaft to the bearings inside , it also damaged the GOVENAR. I had to have the transmission rebuilt. The well established local shop had a VERY HARD TIME finding parts!!! All were ordered from a source in Japan ...

I learned my issue was a froze up "Differential" :(. guess that's what they do when they get run dry............ LOCK UP ( per 2 local transmission guys/separate shops) the whole trans needs rebuilt, as pinion bearings probably froze & seals are usually gone too among possible other unseen...

HEY Guys!!! HOPE ALL ARE WELL.......... Need a lil help Please. 1991 Corolla auto trans what would make it LOCK UP while driving????............showed zero sign of any transmission issues prior. here is a link to more info on my specific issue...
