    Rotate Tires

When I bought my Corolla I got free service for 25,000 miles. I never felt that rotating tires front to back was a good idea so when Toyota rotated my tires during the free service (which they did front to back) I would go home, jack up the front of the car and swap the front tires side to side.

    Toyota Corolla Acceleration Problems

Toyota has put a command in their cars' computers to do what you experienced when you step on the gas and the brake at the same time. This came about when they had the so-called problem with the sticking accelerators a few years back.

    2010 Corolla S Won't Start - Help

Just a quick note: when jumping with another car be sure that car is revving its motor in order to give you enough power to start.

    Not Responding At All

I'm assuming that since you have to ask you don't have a voltmeter. If you do have a voltmeter, or can borrow one, check the voltage of the battery. Also, if the battery has caps that can be removed take them off and make sure there is the correct amount of acid in the battery. If not, add...

2012 LE - High RPM At 80 MPH

I read your post this morning and then my wife and I took a quick trip to Louisiana. On the way I checked my rpm at 80 mph. It was 3200 rpm. Are you sure you're not in 3rd gear?

    2010 S - Tire Pressure

Sit in the car, reach under the dash with your right hand. The button should be just past the edge of the cover. You should also be able to see it if you look under the dash. I'm saying this based upon a 2012 S.

    2010 S - Tire Pressure

You set the pressure level. After you put the proper amount of air in the tires turn on the ignition switch, reach under the dash to find the set button, press and hold the button so the tire pressure indicator light on the dash blinks three times and you're done. This pressure setting is not...

    2013 LE 4-Spd AT

I just checked my 2012 S with the 4-Speed AT at 70 mph and the it cruised at just shy of 2800 rpm.

    2013 Corolla - Cruise Control

It's strange the combinations that exist when you buy a car. I have a 2012 S and it came with a radio which has Bluetooth for the phone but nothing else, and cruise control. However, there is a port for USB and AUX. No touch screen, navigation, or anything else. I'm pleased with this...

    Avg. MPG Display

I find that it records a mile or two better mpg than actual. For example, that last fill up was actually 32.5 mpg while the dash display said 35.1.

    Stock Tires

My Corolla S came with the Eagle RS-As and at 15,000 miles I got rid of them. They were hard riding tires. I replaced them with Michelin Primacy MXV4 tires and have been very happy with that choice.

    Corolla Fuel Efficiency

All this talk about mpgs is always interesting, however, what you really have to calculate is how far your wife's bladder can go between gas stations. And, as usual, when you hear those words "I have to go" you're always a hundred miles in any direction to the next station but you're expected...

2011 Corolla - Why 35 PSI for Low Tire Pressure?

I don't understand the problem and this business of clearing the monitor. You can set the tire monitor at any pressure you like. If you want 32 psi, put 32 in the tires, turn the ignition key to one of the on positions, hold the tire monitor button (under the dash) until the tire indicator...

    Radio Connection

I have a Corolla 2012 S and I use my iPod plugged into the USB port. Everything works fine. Simply push the Media button on the radio until the iPod menu pops up. It doesn't have the Shuffle command but it does have other menus you can pick from.

    0W-20 Oil

Since my last posts I've gone through a long, hot summer and did a bunch of traveling. Everything ran good and mpg was good. All this with the 0W-20 oil. Because of this I think I'll stick with this grade oil. On another note, the only brand I can find 0W-20 in 5 qt. jugs at our local stores...

    Current Recall

I don't have the notice that was sent but as I recall it was for a few years up through 2012s manufactured in the US. The parts were left out and the recall is to put them in. They inspect the car to see if it needs the parts. I received a notice in the mail last week.
