Just bought myself a 2002 Corolla with 218k miles on it. I paid $400 for it, hoping to get some more use out of it. It does have some sort of a "rattle" or "knock" around 4k rpms, but I plan on babying it and hoping for the best.
Once the weather warms up a bit i'll be changing the oil, doing a drain/fill and filter change on the transmission (auto) and going from there. Would anyone be interested in seeing pictures as I go along? Will be interesting to see how the oil and transmission fluid look. Fingers crossed!
