So glad to see fellow older model Corolla fans. I want to keep my car running forever, but need to invest in some significant repairs (so I've been told). I've got very little pick up, the idle is running fast, and two of the four pistons are pumping at less than 50% strength.
Unfortunately I haven't found a good mechanic to work with, I won't bother you with the horror stories.
i'm looking for some advice. Are there repairs I can make myself that will help? Know anyone who can help with repairs in my area? Or how I find a good mechanic to work with?
