Hello. I have a problem with my right hand side front speaker in my e11 corolla. One day it just made a "cracking" sound and after that it wouldn't play anything. I thought that the old speaker blew up. I removed the door panel and checked the speaker but it was fine. I even tried using the speaker on a remote amp and it worked just fine. The trouble is also not a connection problem. I have traced the positive signal from the stereo all the way to the speaker and even that is fine. The problem seems to be that the - wire gets the positive signal aswell. I have no clue how is this possible but if there is a place in these cars where the wires wear out time to time I would be happy if someone told me. I have two pictures here showing both wires getting the positive signal.
