2001 Corolla Indicator Problem

Today, I was driving on the freeway, and when I turned on my turn signal, it didn't work. I investigated further and thought that it could be a problem woth the fuse, but both the hazard lights and the turn signal fuses were fine. Everything else in the car works fine, so I'm wordering if it is a problem with something else.
Any suggestions on how to fix it?

If your hazard work, make sure the lights are flashing if they are I would start by checking your switch. Make sure all other functions are working headlights, high beams even fog lights if equipped. If they are I would take your steering column aprart and check your contact points.
