I have a high mileage CE that is my faithful commuter. Biggest problem I have with it right now is my steering wheel is practically falling off the steel rim. I'd like to retain the use of the airbag but am finding this is a common problem with Corollas this old. Has anyone tried using a Camry wheel as a replacement? They have different part numbers but look pretty close. Toyota wants over $400 for a new one and best I can find for a good used one is about $100 with shipping. Anyone have suggestions ?
