2003 Corolla - Random Misfire After Replacing Coils

#1
Hi guys, I'm a Honda head and Nissan/Mitsubishi Technic. Now my cousin have this corolla 03 that she has take to two other mechanics for a multiple misfire. They replace the 1,2 and number 3 coil the scanner give as bad but the car still the same.

I've replaced from another client car, coils and ECU with no luck. A fellow mechanic told me that the culprit it's the Crank sensor, but I'm not sure if change it with out a CEL for this expensive sensor.

I'm not TOYOTA expert, so my question is. Anybody has have this problem or changed the crank sensor with out a CEL to solve a this problem or similar?

Thanks in Advance
Carlos

The car will NOT diagnose issues for you. It simply gives you a place to start. You won't always get a CEL for a bad part.

I'd doubt a crank sensor would cause a code for 3 different coils.

Please post the active codes here and we may be able to be of further assistance.
