2004 Corolla CE Air Temp Sensor

Hello all, I am new to the forum. Quick question. I have a 2004 Corolla CE and the outside air temp sensor either doesn't work or not factory installed? Above where the mileage is on the dash cluster there is just dashes (- -) and doesn't read a temperature. Can I add a sensor if it wasn't factory installed?

Yes. Most manufacturers make the wire harnesses will all the options to the plug. First step find where it should be located. Then find the plug order up the actual part.
