I drive a 05' Toyota Corolla and my check engine light just came on. I plan on taking it in this week, but it only 89,000 miles and never had any problems. What are common Corolla issues?

It could be a number of many different things. If you take the car to Advance Auto Parts of Auto Zone, they will scan the onboard computer of your Corolla for free and find out what is going on. Write down the trouble code(s) they find, post them here and we'll see what we can get figured out for you. 
Well, most helpful! It turns out I had a vacuum leak, but all my Toyota dealer fixed me up!
