I'm having an issue with my 2006 LE, and I'm hoping someone can give me some pointers. I cannot get the front defroster to work properly. The problem is the cable linkage from the blower control knob slips off the rotor that moves the blower door. Everything works well when I rotate the knob in the first four positions. But when I try to turn the knob to the defroster-only position, it's hard to move. If I force it, the cable end pops off of the rotor. I've tried turning it by hand (by reaching in behind the glove box), and it's very difficult moving the door into the defroster-only position. It's worse in the winter. It works fine in the summer.
