Daughter has a 2008 with a roof moulding, the one that covers the rain/drip gutter, that is loose at the front. Have tried a few searches here and elsewhere without any luck.
Appears to be one clip attached to the roof at front and one at back. One at front is not up to holding moulding in place at higher speeds. Clip is attached (glued/welded?) to roof so no easy changing it even if they are available.
I originally thought the bottom of the moulding was supposed to be a friction fit with the clip attached to the roof, now not so sure. Have tried pinching arms together for a tighter fit but does not seem to help.
Could the moulding be missing a clip of its own that is supposed to engage the one attached to the roof the latter has two slots on either arm?
Any insight/help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
