My brother has a 2011 Corolla and seems to just started to have a problem when trying to start it. He explains that the only way the engine will fire is to press the gas pedal all the way when engine is cracking. I don't understand how this could even make a difference in a fuel injected engine but that's what he says. When the car runs he has no other issues and no engine codes. Of course he lives across the country or I would be able to look at it further as i'm the mechanic in the family. I told him to take it in but its out of warranty.
