I've been looking all over to see if anyone has opinions or research on the 6MT in my newly purchased Corolla. I'm just curious if they're known to last for a long while, or how long has Toyota been using this specific transmission? I haven't found a thing so odds are it's bullet proof and will do just fine if I treat it right. How about the clutch, do people find themselves ever needing to replace it? Do you find it has plenty of grip over the life of your vehicle? Thank you, and appreciate it.
