2015 Corolla - Door Locks

#1
Hello
I'm a new toyota Corolla owner and still learning and enjoying the new design, one thing I'm not comfortable with are the automatic door lock, the car I was driving before (nissan) only unlock the four doors when you take the key out, but in my 2015 LE Corolla as soon as I switch to Parking all four door open, any way possible to re-program the lock system???

I'm not sure if a "key out" option is available, but you'll find all available options un the touchs screen (setup - vehicule)

You can use the Entune system to go into your vehicle settings and enable/disable auto-lock and auto-unlock functions.

I know what you mean. My girl's 2010 auto-unlocked in Park ... I switched it to auto-unlock with driver's door.

Also, the procedure that the '09+ Corolla's have with the shifter position and the driver's side lock and unlock buttons works for the '14+ as well.

If you can't find it in the Entune system, do this.

1. Turn on car (don't start it)
2. Shift to R
3. Shut off car.
4. Turn on car (don't start it).
5. Shift to N.
6. Hold driver's side unlock for 5 seconds, then release.
7. All doors should cycle their locks simultaneously.

That will do automatic unlock when the driver's side door is opened.
