2015 Corolla Le- door lock chime

My door lock beep isn't working can anybody tell me how to turn it back on? I already went under the setup and the volume is turned up all the way but it still doesn't chime, and the doors lock just fine. Any one have any ideas if I have to do something with the remote or do I have to bring it in for maintenance. Thanks in advance.

In the menu you have bars to adjust the volume but, if I remember well, it first have to be "on", not "off" via the same menu.

Yeah that's the problem I guess it says off with the volume green when you press off off goes dark and so does the volume. So I guess I can't fix this myself
