2015 Corolla won't start, few hours later starts up

#1
This morning my mom got in her car to go to work and the car wouldn't start. She said it was dead, didn't turn over at all. I went out to jump it about 5 hours later and before jumping it or anything I got it to start. I turned it over and it gurgled a little then started normally. I let it run for about 10 minutes and turned it off, then turned It back on and it started up perfectly fine. Does anyone know why it wouldn't start at all then start up after sitting? The car had been parked since Friday evening without being turned on until Monday morning. Thank you!

You more than likely have a weak/dead cell in that battery or suspect cable connections. You didn't say how old the battery is, but the life is usually 2-3 years depending on the environment where you live. Inspect the cable ends for corrosion. Take them off and use some sandpaper to clean both the inner cable ends and battery posts. Reassemble and lightly coat them with some automotive grease or vaseline.
