2015 Toyota Corolla - Back door locks

#1
I have a 2015 Toyota Corolla that is already having issues with both of my back door locks not working. A mechanic friend thinks it could have been all the rain we recently had, or a short in the wiring. I was wondering if anyone else has been having the same issue??

Toyota door actuators fail quite frequently. The problem is with the motor which drives the open & close features. They sometimes stick and you get intermittent latches that don't open. I just replaced the passenger side on my wife's Prius this last December. The dealer wants $600 for parts and labor. I paid $180 for a rebuilt/exchange on ebay with a lifetime warranty. Took me 40 minutes to R&R. Search for Actuators Plus. Over 2K positive reviews.
