The Lotus Elise SC makes 218 HP and 155 lbft of torque from a 2zr-fe engine. (SC means Super Charged) and it redlines at 8,000 RPM.

There is the 2ZR-FE in the Lotus with the supercharger as mentioned above, there was a 10th gen turbo Corolla from a while ago that had 240ish whp and a more recent 11th gen Corolla with a custom turbo kit that has 260 whp. The 2ZR-FE is a pretty strong engine already so I think it can handle about 300-400 hp at most. 2ZR-FE
The Toyota 2ZR-FE is a DOHC, 16-valve, 1.8 L(1798 cc)[2] engine also equipped with Dual VVT-i.

This new engine is now replacing the 1ZZ-FE engine in most applications.[3] Output for this engine is rated at 98 kW (132 hp)-103 kW (138 hp) at 6000 rpm and 173 N·m (127.5 lb·ft) of torque at 4400 rpm for the Corolla, Matrix, and Vibe and 95 kW (128 hp) and 171 N·m (126 lb·ft) of torque in the Scion xD.
