Amplifier and Subwoofers

Sorry if this has been asked before. Im trying to hook up an amp an 2 - 12" subs in my daughters car. coming from the rear deck speakers for input an finding a remote turn on is a pain. Will the rear deck inputs work? an what would be a good remote power for the amp. 2 sony explode 12's an a rockwood 450 amp. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Im not that much of a tech guru but I believe you will still have to run your remote wire from the head unit anyway. I too thought about using the rear speakers as the input.
