Anti-theft features

Have a 2014 S plus. The sticker on the window says car can be traced if stolen. Does the 2014 have a theft location tracking? Any other anti-theft features other than the stereo needing a code? Engine imobilizer or anything?

Also, where can one find the code for the stereo if it loses power and needs to be reset?

I don't have Lo-Jack, so you would have to ask your dealer about that (I have a perimeter alarm system with active anti-theft but no GPS tracking).

The tracing you are talking about might refer to the fact that the VIN is microetched all over the car on various parts, so chop shops will get busted quick and changing the VIN tag on the dashboard and door panel won't work.

Engine immobilizer depends on the dealer.

I am not sure if the stereo needs a code or not. I didn't read anything in the manual about it but then again, I brushed through it.
