I replaced my brakes and rotors at 45 k miles on my 2014 Corolla . Got a good deal for quality rotors and pads from Rockauto. All together paid around $89. But after I got the old brakes taken down I think I probably could have gone another 45k miles.

I have new rotors, that I painted. Just bought new pads and shims.
Now I want to buy new (used calipers) and paint them.
I’m just worried about using remanufactured calipers. I don’t want to paint my originals, just keep them in a box. And I definitely want to keep them.
I have remanufactured calipers on my Highlander and they haven’t given me any problems what so ever. But, when it comes to this Corolla...
