Creaking noise lower control arm

#1
53 K on my 2104 Corolla ECO. Have squeaking noise from the lower control arm. Took to Toyota dealer. They were able to reproduce the sound. Told that the lower control arm bushings were causing the noise. Most noticeable on pulling into drive ways or large dips. Otherwise not noticeable. Dealership told me that it would cost 1000 dollars to fix and replace the bushings. Anyone else having this issue? There is no TSB on this. Toyota corporate told me to have a nice day and that it would need to be taken care of at the dealership level.

If they are correct, any good shop can do this work for a lot less than the stealership.
I don't have any problems with mine yet, but I expect to someday since the car is lowered.

My 2014 Corolla S does the same at 84k miles. It's not even every bump or dip but it's a slight groan. Haven't asked the dealer since I bought used and outside of warranty

Thanks. I agree.I think I will not do anything till it gets worse. Great car. Got 50mpg on the highway behind a truck doing 70 mph. This car puts hybrids to shame.
