DIY Heated Seat Install

Hello Forum!

Does anyone know of any tutorials or write ups on an 11th gen Corolla for heated seat install?

I am looking at a generic eBay kit with switches included. I cannot post the link.

I have extensive experience with aftermarket stereo install, is this any more labor intensive? Are there any tips or tricks I should follow?

All I know is that the oem parts are reasonably priced except the switches. They're like 60 bucks a switch!

If I were in the states I'd just up and take it to the dealer. I've heard too many horror stories in regards to the seats becoming unalterable in terms of comfort.

Unfortunately, I'm in the exact center of no-where Bavaria.

I am thinking of taking the heated seat pads out of my old seats and moving them to the new ones, if I do I will make a write up.
