DRL Same Bulb As High Beams?

I have a 2010 corolla and I am looking at replacing the DRL bulbs and I am just wondering what would be the best bet? A HID kit or led bulbs, I never noticed before that the DRL is the same bulb as the high beams it is just dim while the DRL are on so idk if an LED bulb would work ok as a high beam or not. Any input would be great. Thanks.

Get a nice set of Silverstar bulbs. HID and LEDs are not designed to work in that type of housing and you can blind drivers, as well as make high beams that are actually weaker than with the regular bulb.
