I've heard of different engine swaps for the corolla. I've done a little research and it seems the easiest is a silvertop 4age 20v. I'd like a blacktop but if I have to custom make a tranny mount then I'm not prepared to do that. I can get a good deal on a 4efte engine with manual trans, would that bolt up? If I have to make custom mounts you can forget it. I'd love a 3sgte but I don't think it's feasible. Wiring will be hard but I know a guy who does custom 4efte wiring harnesses for cheap so that's the reason I would go that route.
I love the idea of making my little wagon a sleeper. Regardless of what I go I want turbo power but that can wait. I just want a different engine other than stock in there for now.
