My wife's car has been run too low on oil too much. I replaced rod bearings hoping to fix the problem but now the engine died. my wife's car is a 2002 with a 1.8l and a junk yard told me he has an engine from a 2003 and I want to make sure I won't have any serious problems installing it before I buy it. The guy also told me I would have to switch out the intake and exhaust manifolds. My questions is do you know if I will have other fit-up/connector problems? If all I have to do is swap a few parts I don't mind that at all. I just don't want to get halfway done and that it won't work.
