Footwell Lighting Help

Hi everyone,
So i'm thinking of installing some interior led lighting in the foot wells. Problem is I'm like a 3 year old when it comes to fidgeting with all the wires and cords. Can anyone help me? I was thinking of using a cigarette lighter adapter as the source but any suggestions are appreciated.

It would make a better install if it was hard wired into the car. You would have to tap the circuit that turns on your dome lights, at the door switch.

Unless you want to be able to turn them on whenever.
I added cup holder LED's to mine and I have them turning on with the parking lights.

Where did you get the cup holder LED's? How to wire them?

Two wires, one negative just goes to something metal. Chassis ground.
One positive. I connected to the connector that would go to a sport button, if I had one. One of the wires is for the lighting circuit.
