Footwell Lighting

This is one "feature" I really miss from my previous car.

I rigged up some 12" Cold Cathode tubes under the dash to light up the footwells, but I had to run the wires all the way up the A-pillar to the dome light.

Looking to do this again with some white LEDs but need a 12v source that's door/dome switch activated. Is the best option to go up the A-pillar again, or does the Corolla have a better source near the lower center console?

To wire it the way you want you would need to access the left hand side fuse box, find the fuse for the dome light and use an add-a-fuse.
