My AC has not been working, but I'm not sure how long since it has been winter.
I checked the refrigerant, when I hooked up the pressure gauge it read as high. I made sure my AC was switched on and let it run and the pressure is still high, so it must be that the compressor clutch is not switching on. The engine does make a different noise when i turn on the AC, but it looks like the compressor doesn't.
Next step was checking the relay, I pulled out the MG CLT relay, which made no difference in the engine noise change I mentioned above. Then i tried both switching it with the horn relay and bypassing it with wire, neither made any difference.
I think that this means it isn't the pressure gauge switch, because it should have turned on when i bypassed it.
I'm stuck at what to do next.
