Can I have a trailer hitch put on my 2006 Corolla? If so, can anyone say how much of a load I could pull and stop safely? Also, can anyone point me in the right direction for buying and installing one least costly? /thanks in advance.

I've got one on my 2004 corolla, and the rating is 150 lbs tongue weight, and 1500 lbs. I bought mine from u-hail for about 300.00, and installed it myself. Not sure how much they charge to install it for you.

These are cheap, easy to install and I have used them on the last 3 corollas (2006, 2005, 2007) I had. I also bought the "no cut" wiring from CURT (See 3rd link)
