Installing New Brake Rotors

Is there any preparation that needs to be done to new oem toyota brake rotors before installing them or can they be installed right out of the box?

I've installed several pairs of rotors over the years. Just spray clean the rotors with some Brakleen. It will wash away the film of oil that's on them from the factory. And it dries/evaps very quickly - i use a new rag to wipe them too. It's the brake surface you want the cleanest. Don't worry about having some lint on them - you're not working in a semiconductor plant.

Should take about 6 to 7 seconds of spraying per side. Just get the grease film off.
