So my country has crazy power cuts and driving at night is a task in order to make it easier for me i decided to install projector lens. This is the second time i am doing this . the first ones i installed where 2.5 inches and they were crap .total waste of money. they couldn't see more than a couple of yards ahead . Now i've got koio Q5 3.0 inches and they are really bright at night . running 35 watt bulbs at 6000k with 55 watt ballast. The reason i have 55 watt ballast was due to the old set up requiring a different type of bulb .Both set up require H1 bulbs but thhe basses are different .
Posting this cos im really excited at how bright they are at night and i have them properly aimed, so im not blinding oncoming drivers.
The old projector has the lens housed in black.
