Metal particles sticking to the magnetized transmission drain plug indicates wear and tear. Not good of course and can be indicative of a transmission fluid quality/performance issue or fluid failure.

Yep you can place a Oil magnet plug, in. Its best to capture the particals then have them float. I did not make the car, it's on the car. so I wonder if its on the corolla to, have you checked your pan lately Scott.
