anyone own a manual 6 speed 2014 corolla ascent sport and find gear changing a problem sounds like over revving

Have only had mine a few weeks, sometimes finding a gear can be a trick but have not really had a major issue with it.

How much experience do you have driving a manual? I came from a manual 2013 Corolla to another manual 2014 (previous car was totaled in a wreck).

I did find it took me a week or so to get used to the clutch engagement point on my new car, but things have been fine now. You'll eventually find the balance between gas and clutch--just keep at it!

Overreving? I'm not following you. If there is overreving occuring during a shift it is because you are on the throttle when you shouldn't be as well as not fully disengaging the clutch (you should only use throttle during a downshift, not an upshift)
