We need a little more information. How many miles do you have? What type of mods have you done to the car? What else has changed recently? Do you drive mainly highway, city, or combo of both? What were you getting in terms of MPG before and currently?

2 weeks ago it’s 32.3 and now it’s 16.0

what will happen if they unplug the battery
Average means nothing by itself unless we know when it was last reset. If average was for some reason reset and you look at it after driving a short while in heavy traffic, it will indeed look bad. Is this your only symptom of sudden bad mpg? If so, let it accumulates some data for a while before worrying because , as I said, just this data doesn't mean a lot without context. Unless you noticed the change via long term hand calculation

It's supposed to reset the ECU so it'll adjust to the new intake.

At this point I'd suggest resetting the car's MPG reader and even running your own MPG calculation (number of miles driven divided by the amount of gallons filled). Drive for a couple of weeks or however long it takes you to drive 2 or 3 tanks worth and go from there.
