I just purchased a 2017 Corolla LE w/40,000K miles on it. I'm a first time Toyota owner. Wonder if you all can guide me towards the best resources online for these cars? First issue I immediately have, and I'm a bit puzzled by it, but my car's hood prop is missing. Just doesn't have it. The bracket it rests in is there, however. And searching online, I can find one (part number 53440-02170 apparently) for between $12 and $17. But what I was wondering is, what else, in addition to the prop, might I need (brackets, grommets, whatnot)? It's hard to know what you need if all is missing! So I've been looking for an illustrated parts manual or something similar, online. Any suggestions about my general inquiry or my specific inquiry (hood prop) are appreciated!
