Hi Guys, I am new to this, so please be patient......
I am the proud owner of a 1996 corolla 1.6 cdx..... and i think it's wonderful, I would say it is the best car I have owned. honest, simple, strong, if only people where that....
Anyway to the point, the gearbox is getting noisy at 175k miles.....
My question is will a newer E110 gearbox ( 1.6 A4-FE ) fit my E100 car with the same engine, I have seen pictures and they look identical..
Does any body have any experience of gearbox fitment on my old car ?
