Greetings, I have an 06 corolla and just replaced the engine due to a broken rod, replacement engine runs great with normal operating temp but the radiator will not stay full, the level in the overflow tank rises about an inch a day. if I fill the radiator and leave the overflow tank at min it will gradually fill the overflow tank to max and not draw the coolant back in leaving the radiator low. this radiator has a small tank on the filler neck and you cant see down into the radiator, every car I've had in the past leaves the radiator full. is it normal for this "tank" area to be empty? Thanks for any help. The cap has already been replaced.
