Replacing Headlight Assembly

#1
I have an 07 LE. I want to replace my OEM headlight assembly with an aftermarket assembly that has a black housing interior (not tinted headlights). Is this as simple as taking out the bulb assembly, swapping the headlight assembly, and putting the bulbs back. I know that the "Halo" headlights require additional wiring but would any additional wiring be required in my case?

*PS I do realize that you need to remove the front bumper cover in order to get to one of the headlight bolts.

This is the pair I'm looking to purchase if it helps... http://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-BLACK-2...007|Model:Corolla&hash=item5d3f9ff15b&vxp=mtr

I just put the halo projector lights on my 06. Very easy install even with the extra wiring for the "halos". Those headlights should be even easier as you just put your headlights into that housing and then bolt them in. No extra wiring would be necessary if you are not adding additional lights (ie halos, leds, etc)

So I did the install over the weekend. You were right easy as can be. Most time consuming part was removing the bumper cover with all the clips and such. A nematic socket wrench would have helped. Lights fit perfectly and I think they look really good. I installed the Low Beam Silverstar Ultras too, definitely helps the visibility.

The grill came as a freebie with the headlights but did not fit like an OEM. Ended up pulling up in the wind while driving and cracking so I have since put the original back on, will probably paint black in the future.
