Shaking problem

  1. I just bought a 2008 automatic corolla.It is shaking while stopping and releaseing the brake.I realised it a long trip.Small trips it is working good.Pls any suggestions ?

    You need to check your brake pads. If they are wear out you need to replace them. Also you need to do facing of the brake disc. Also you need to remove the caliper pins. Clean the caliper pins and re-grease them. Remember use only silicon based grease. this will solve your problem. I had same issue and I put new pads with new discs and re-grease the pins. Now the issue is solved.

    rotate your tires and repressurize them, see if this help

    If I understand it correctly, you feel vibration even applying your brake mainly on long trips?
    This is caused by warpage on your rotors and drums. If you feel a shimmy while braking on the steering wheel, then your front rotors are warped and will need to be re-surfaced or replaced. If you feel a pedal pulsation while braking your drum brakes will need to be re-surfaced or replaced.
