Shocks and struts

I'm looking into replacing my shocks and struts along with all of the lower front end suspension parts. I wanna save a buck and do it myself. So my question is, has anyone done this? And how difficult is it? Any input is welcome.

There are tons of DIYs repair on YOUTUBE. If you need a specialty spring tools, you can rent them from your local auto part store or locate your Harbor Freight Tools store.

You can eBay a repair kit or a full kit, varies on what you are looking to do.
