Stiff Driver's Seat Angle

Hi all, just got my new 2014 S Plus model yesterday. Love the car, but I noticed the driver's side seat angle adjustment isn't as springy as the passanger's side (or any other car I've driven for that matter). Is this normal, or should both sides have the same amount of force?

I noticed it is a slight pain in the ass to get my angle adjustment set if someone messes with it, but I'm the primary driver of the car so it doesn't bother me much.
