Thermostat

Sorry if this question gets asked alot.

I looked it up online and it looks like I'll have to remove the alternator then the water inlet (the place where the radiator hose goes into the water pump?) in order to replace the thermostat, I just wanted to confirm this is accurate.

That depends on the year/make/model/engine of the vehicle in question.
