Went ahead and replaced my tensioner because I was chasing the P0171 too lean code. I think I might have jacked up my timing as the car sounds like a chain rattling around.

I am 19 and had this piece of shiet for almost two years and always had a lack of power and had to either mash my pedal or find the sweet spot for the throttle. Don’t ask how many miles, there are too many. Maybe after I’ve fixed it I’ll tell ya.
I struggled to find a video on this timing chain and I’m not down to listen to Peter Finn on youtube. I’ll be using some kit with a water pump from amazon for the 98-99 1ZZFE engine (no vvti). Ill start this process in a couple of days so any tips would be nice other wise I’ll be trying to record or take some photos of myself and my struggles.
