All transmissions these days are lifetime fill. The problem is my idea of lifetime is much different than the manufacturer's idea of lifetime. I want my cars to go 200k+. I do a drain and fill every 30k. I have no experience with CVTs except for renting one. If it was my car, I would be looking into replacing the fluid. Not a flush, just drain and fill. Ask in other forums, hit up a Prius forum, that's the car group with the most experience with CVTs.
