TPMS SENSORS

#1
Hi there, i have a 2014 corolla le, recently put new snow tires and steel wheels on it, with new sensors from discount tire. It seems that the low pressure light is coming on at highway speeds, pull over check pressure, it is all equal in every tire, this has happened a couple times, but it has only come on at 65 mph or faster. Any ideas what this issue could be?

Thanks guys!

This is odd as pressure would go higher, not lower at highway speed.
If pressure is equal, was the desired pressure programmed in the system in the first place (reset button, which is different than re initializing the system) ?
Is it because of the speed or because of an X amount of time (coincidental with the moment you reach 65) ? That could be the delay for the system to realize in can not establish contact with the sensors. Have they been checked and their ID entered in the system ?

Yeah the id's were entered in the system by discount tire, but their scan tool is only good up until 2013 models. Maybe ay highway speed it is alarming because the sensors are talking to each other more. Do you know if anyone besides the dealer would have updated software, im not spending 100 dollars at the dealer for them to do it.

New sensors should be programmed into the system. The seller should have been able to do it (and include it in the price).
If not it's the dealer or you need some special tool : http://www.ateqtpm.com/personal-use-tools/
If the seller wasn't able to check it, are the sensors properly working or compatible with the car ?
Then you alo have to program the right pressure in the system (once you are sure your tires are at the right one) by using the button in the glove box (see manual p. 450)
If the light is flashing before staying on, it indicates a malfunction.
Speed has nothing to do with more or less communication. The system is either on (sometimes after a few minutes of rolling movement) or off (after a few minutes without rolling movement).
