Hello from new member seeking advice. I swapped engine/transmission from a 2000 corolla to a 2002 corolla. Little did I kmow at the time Toyota built transmissions with a electronic shift solenoid and others without. So my 2002 ,corolla brain is seeking the solenoid which is not part of its new tranmission, and displaying code 753. No big deal as the car performs just fine----except In my state this trouble code will automatically fail state inspection (NH) and the car can not be driven! So helpful people, How can I convince the car to ignore this code? I have tried using scan tools to erase the code, resetting by disconnecting power, and calling the dealership. with no success. Anyone have this problen? The sate is very unsympathetic.
